Recreation and Park Management
Students in this concentration complete internships and pursue careers in community recreation, public parks, corporate recreation/fitness, correctional recreation, military recreation, senior centers, youth sports, and non-profit organizations such as Young Men's and Women's Christian Associations. Upon successful completion of this program, students are eligible to become Certified Park and Recreation Professionals through the National Recreation and Park Association. rptm
Tourism Management
The focus of this concentration is on tourism service management and sustainable destination development. A business administration minor is built into this concentration. Career opportunities are available in resorts, theme parks, outdoor adventures, special events, convention and visitors bureaus, regional planning, and eco tourism.
